总要把自己最好的那只脚伸到前面来。
这句谚语所寓指的意思是：扬己所长（capitalize on your strengths).
从大约15世纪末（1495）开始，这一谚语就已经被广泛地使用了。
在美国则 首见于1744年。此语常简略为Best foot forward.
