my advanture yesterday

Yesterday I went to visit a place of interest called “ Ba Yong Lou” with my classmates as well as several members of our calligraphy association , the building  sort of looks like a old castle tangled by some unknown plants ,it includes the very historical site we intent on visiting : a house where the famous poet Li Qing zhao of Song dynasty once live during the great retreat.
Here Joy have to explain to my fellow readers something about the background of my favorite female poet. She was born to a noble family at the very beginning and well educated , As a result ,she was undoubtedly different from most women at her time whom are taught to be ignorance is a virtue.
Besides, I bet she was blessed with immense talents in using the Chinese characters, when I first read her work which is known to all with the name “声声慢”in my junior school,I was so deeply moved and even got tears in my eyes ,I just can’t believe it that a lady lived thousands year ago ’s China can sustain herself to endure so many unfortunates yet managed to compose such beautiful sentences . she didn’t wrote with the brush pen but with her broken heart. By then the Jin Empire in north of china became stronger and its ambition of conquer the Han Nation inflated as time went by. finally it achieved its goal to dominate the whole country and compelled the Song government to retreat back to the south bank of Yangzi River. That’s the beginning of “Nan Song” dynasty.
miss Li Qing zhao suffered a lot during the retreat including lost in touch with her husband Zhao Ming cheng whom later was found died of sickness on the way, and she was so faithful to the government that she decide to donate all her collections of precious antiques and paintings to the country however, which turned out to be a total ridiculous mistake——the corrupt officials were wicked rubbish! They took her stuffs as their own property.
In her later years the poor lady killed time by writing these profound and everlasting poems. She died in her fiftieth.
Ok, come back to my adventure! It took us pretty a long time to find the souvenir hall ’cause none of us has ever been to this district before. Fortunately we discovered it at last and took some photos there.
We got downstairs to meet other companies but appealed by an antique store whose owner was so hospitably that Lucien and I stepped in to have a cup of tea——“wild tea ”exactly. It is a happy talking indeed and we both leaned a lot of stuffs about Chinese history and its traditional china.
It’s a interesting afternoon ended with a supper with mr.Carroll on the second floor of GuiYuan canteen.
