unfading memories

Yesterday I watched the latest new film “International Military Tribunal Far East”, directed by a young Chinese director Gao Qun shu.

The film was so profound that it reminded me of an earlier movie “The Pearl Harbor ”produced by the Hollywood.

The background of the movie was set in the world war II ,time goes back to the early 1940s,by then the war was totally broken out worldwide. The Japanese army as well as the Nazi German  led by Hitler were crazy to conquer other countries like the UK, China  and France.

These nations struggled to protect their homes and defend their countries, but the evil enemy was so powerful that the decent seemed almost went collapse.

What’s worse, America stood still and pretended to neglect the war.

Fortunately it doesn’t last long ’cause the Japanese airplanes attacked the pacific navy of America on a Sunday morning in a sudden and this did annoyed the federal government and even most of the American people.

As a result, the Japanese paid the price. Forces of about three countries including America, China  and Soviet Union together compelled the Japanese to surrender.

The rest is the history.

During watching the judgment, my chest filled with anger to the Japanese while at the same time felt ashamed for the incapable of the Chinese government.

History witnessed the past, let the passed be a past ,but as  21th century Chinese university students, we shall remember the disgrace forever and never forget it!
