A Brief Introduction To The Therapy
1. Epidermal melanocytes (MC) Autotransplantation
It is identified as an important breakthrough of vitiligo treatment in 1990'. It mainly uses special instrument to take the skin melanocytes from the normal part of the patient and transplants them to the pathological areas. Then through complex treatment the transplanted melanocytes will survive, grow and extend. Normally it needs 7-10 days to have therapeutic effects and 1-3 months the skin can be recovered. Vitiligo in a small part can be cured in one time while in large parts need several times to have excellent curative effects. This therapy with strict science has a high curative rate, stable effect and short course of treatment. It is fit for applying to vitiligo patients of local, segmental and spread types at stationary period. Local and segmental types ( at stationary period) can achieve upper 95% of curative rates, while spread type (at stable period) can reach 68% of curative rates. Various parts of the body can be cured by this therapy (such as face, penis and hair, et al), and it is painless and no scar. Through 4 years of clinical application in the center, the therapy has cured vitiligo patients more than two thousands and has been identified by the medical circle both home and abroad.
2. New Physiological Sleep Therapy
It is a kind of combining therapy for vitiligo. Through medicine taken orally, intramuscular injection, Chinese medicine and western medicine, it adjusts the nerve, endocrine and immunity systems, stops the pernicious stimulus between the surface of the body and the central nervous system, cuts off the pathological circulation, improves the microcirculation, increases the pharmacological function of photosensitive medicine and promotes the composition of skin pigment. Assisting by the treatment of long wave ultraviolet rays it can produce better curative effect for developing vitiligo and white patches fading away. It fits for any healthy ( no heart, lung, liver and kidney diseases etc.) vitiligo patients ( at stationary or developing periods ).
