说起"异度装甲"（Xenogears），恐怕大多数的游戏玩家都知道。作为一款PS上永远的经典，这部作品以其宏大的世界观和曲折的情节让接触过他的玩家都难以忘怀。值得一提的是这部作品的音乐同样具有高水准，光田康典的配乐给游戏带来了非常美妙的意境，无论是战斗时还是平时的移动中，都给人一种清新感。总体来讲属于时种偏向凯尔特风格的音乐，配乐中很多地方都用到了风笛这种爱尔兰的传统乐器。
片尾曲"Small Two of Pieces"演唱者JOANNE HOGG，她所在的乐队IONA也是与Clannad乐队齐名的福音大团。Hogg温婉的嗓音呈现出晶莹亮丽的质感，音场动态宽阔、层次分明，每个音符都教你心与大海一同悸动，英国泰浯士报盛赞这个音乐团体的水平，已将凯尔特音乐成功带入另一个领域。
