昨天晚上他真的是非常非常古怪。我们本来约好了一起去一个餐厅吃晚饭。
但是我白天和我好朋友去shopping了，结果就去晚了一会儿——可能就因此他就不高兴了。他一直不理睬我，气氛僵极了。后来我主动让步，说我们都退一步，好 好的交流一下吧。他虽然同意了，但是还是继续沉默，一副无精打采心不在焉的样子。我问他到底怎么了，他只说“没事。”后来我就问他，是不是我惹他生气 了。他说，这不关我的事，让我不要管。在回家的路上我对他说，我爱他。但是他只是继续开车，一点反应也没有。我真的不明白阿，我不知道他为什么不再 说“我也爱你”了。
我们到家的时候我感觉，我可能要失去他了，因为他已经不想跟我有什么关系了，他不想理我了。他坐在那儿什么也不说，就只是闷着头的看 电视。继续发呆，继续无精打采。后来我只好自己上床睡去了。10分钟以后他爬到床上来了。让我吃惊的是他居然过来爱抚我然后和我……。可是尽管如此我还是感觉，他一直都在想别的什么。他的心思根本不在我这里！这真的是太让我心痛了。我决定要跟他好好的谈一谈。但是他居然就已经睡着了！我只好躺在他身边默默的流泪，后来哭着哭着睡着了。我现在非常的确定，他肯定是有了别的女人了。这真的像天塌下来了一样。天哪，我真不知道我活着还有什么意义。

看到不止一次这样描述男女之间的心理的差异，最具有代表性的是以前看到的关于男生女生剪过头发之后与同伴对话的笑话，以及著名美剧Friends上，The one with the list, Ross and Rachel kiss那一幕.关于这个kiss两人分别对同班的描述，以及同伴之间对这个kiss的看法和反映,当然本着前提条件是Ross 和 Rachel彼此之间的爱是等同的，也就是说他们此时确实是彼此深爱对方的，从两人对同伴的谈话上看出男女之间的差异：
[Scene: Monica and Rachel's apartment. Phoebe, Monica, and Rachel are there, discussing the night before.]
RACH: Ross kissed me.
MNCA: Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god!
RACH: It was unbelievable!

PHOE: Ok, all right. We want to hear everything. Monica, get the wine and unplug the phone. Rachel, does this end well or do we need to get tissues?
RACH: Oh, it ended very well.

PHOE: Ok, all right, let's hear about the kiss. Was it like, was it like a soft brush against your lips? Or was it like a, you know, a "I gotta have you now" kind of thing?
RACH: Well, at first it was really intense, you know. And then, oh, god, and then we just sort of sunk into it.
PHOE: Ok, so, ok, was he holding you? Or was his hand like on your back?
RACH: No, actually first they started on my waist. And then, they slid up, and then, they were in my hair.
PHOE/MNCA: Ohhhh.
[Scene: Ross' apartment. Ross, Chandler, and Joey are there eating pizza.]
ROSS: And, uh, and then I kissed her.
JOEY: Tongue?
ROSS: Yeah.
JOEY: Cool.
