FORMER Bond girl Sophie Marceau has had a serious wardrobe malfunction at the Cannes film festival.
Arriving at the Palais des Festivals for the premiere of her new film, Atom Egoyan's Where the Truth Lies, a strap of her white halter top slipped down one shoulder, exposing one of her breasts.
With camera shutters clicking away, Marceau laughed it off gracefully with a Gallic shrug.
Janet Jackson's infamous Super Bowl wardrobe malfunction last year sparked a government investigation, with US TV network CBS being fined $US550,000 ($726,000) for the on-air "indecency".
It's unlikely the French response will go quite so far.
