最近一直以来都是"之乎者也", 今天我们来学点英国历史:)
owe sb. sth. 欠某人什么东西, 最近在工作邮件中多次出现过:
1. Humphrey wrote, "Yaofeng, All US employees owe you a favor.", 因为老赵在五一其间志愿跑到公司来把一台down掉的服务器给起起来了
2. Darryl wrote this morning, "Pierre, QA owes you lunch. :>) ...in Beijing.", 因为法国小帅哥(sarah的叫法, 踢爆一下, 哈哈)整理并发布了一个代码的checkin rules for daily build, 主要是一些cvs tag的命名规则. 不过老头挺坏的, 因为法国小帅哥今天就离开北京了, 嘿嘿.
