Screaming appears everywhere in the stadium, challenging the limit of hearing. The excited spectators all stood up from their seats, trying their best to get a clearer view of the game. What made their blood so boiled? There’s only one answer----Basketball!
Nowadays, basketball is far more than a kind of sport. It’s a phenomenon. It can appear anywhere at any moment. I like it so much because that anyone who has passion can join the game and play it themselves. Any where is OK, in the stadium, on the sports field in the open air, or even at street corners! I don’t need to be professionals, so long as I have time and a ball, throw it into the basket! It’s nothing whether I goals or not. Just play it and make show of myself! See! I just bounce the ball, dribble it, pass it, or shoot! Common people can also enjoy their own game.
When it comes to the professional field, things are different, but more exciting. There’re well-built muscle man, fabulous techniques, all kinds of shooting styles, special strategies and crazy fans like me. Since every one has their own goals—each team wants to be the winner, each player are eager to be the MVP, and all the spectators look forward to enjoy a wonderful match—the match gets more involving with every one.
In the game of basketball, every one can quickly find their position. The positioning guard leads the team and organizes the attack. The corner man blocks the opponents, the center dunks. Everybody take their chance to shoot the goal. Time is limited, so every one uses strategies. When a team is ahead, it slows down the pace; when they fall behind; they usually choose to use the ‘fast break’ strategy and try to make full-court press. Every people like it. Players move so quickly in the field that sometimes spectators even miss the ball. But of course that won’t bother at all. While watching the game, spectators feel it’s far more than a competition; it’s the upward spirit of our human race that light up all the objects. When a technical foul results in a free throw, spectators gets more excited. They use their weapons—white stick to interfere in their opponents’ attention and help their favorable team, which stimulates each other. As spectators get inspired, so do the team down in the field. Every one is able; every one has the desire, and every one fight. The spectators cannot have their nerve a little bit loosed. Even at breaks, the exciting dancing of basketball babies keep the atmosphere hot.
The last minute of the game doesn’t mean settled scores. So long as there’s still time left, the result can be changed. All kinds of strategies are used to save time and shoot goals. Spectators all stand up and can’t help screaming, whistling to release their tension. At that moment, every one unites, and every one is in the game.
With all the players and spectators excitedly involved, basketball shows its inconvincible power. And that’s why I like it so much.
