I think many of you will agree with the fact that platinum is the most perfect material to use when creating a replica watch. It is solid and it will make a watch last for a long period of time. Certainly there are many advantages of this metal but I would like to focus on watches made from platinum because the most exclusive and limited edition timepieces are made from this material. This is why for today I have chosen a model from the Reverso series of Jaeger-LeCoultre. If someone is aware about Reverso then it is worth mentioning that Reverso series was created for the first time about 75 years ago. In 1991 the company made a special limited edition Reverso thus celebrating its 60th anniversary. Later some more limited edition timepieces with rectangular movements were launched.
Among the latter there were Tourbillon, Repetition, Minutes, Chronographie, Geografique, and Quantieme Perpetuel. All these models were created during 1990's just before the beginning of the 21st century. Obviously some timepieces were upgraded but today I've found this Reverso watch called Platinum Number One and Two Mens Watch which I consider to be absolutely brilliant.
Obviously, if you read the name, the watch is designed for men and its case is made of my favorite material, which is titanium. The case is almost 1 cm thick and its diameter is 26mm x 42mm. The dial is colored grey and what is mostly important its skeleton reverse is hand-decorated. The bezel of Jaeger LeCoultre Reverso Platinum Number One and Two Mens Watch is fixed and its movement is manually winded and bracelet is made of blue leather strap. The watch is 30 meters water resistant.
Probably it would be useful to state some historical aspects of the creator of Jaeger LeCoultre Reverso Platinum Number One and Two Mens Watch since the company has a very rich and remarkable history. On the watch market Jaeger LeCoultre continues to design timepieces for more that 170 years.
The company was founded back in 19th century when Antoine LeCoultre opened a workshop in a small town of Le Sentier, Switzerland. The event took place in 1833. Antoine was not only a remarkable watchmaker; he was also a genius inventor. After nearly one decade of his workshop's activity Antoine developed the Millionometre which was a timepiece able to measure 1/1000th of a millimeter.
This invention made the watch manufacturers from Switzerland to reconsider their watchmaking standards. Throughout its activity on the market of fine watches Jaeger LeCoultre perpetually designed complicated watches and today it still strives for perfection.
