  歌手简介

爱尔兰总是盛产音乐诗人的国度，出生于上世纪70年代早期的创作歌手Damien Rice发行于2003年的首张个人乐队专辑《0》中，封面是一片米白，两个小小的手绘人像，默默的宣示这是张简单的民谣专辑。专辑刚发行，便让他红遍了非主流音乐界，并成为一位知名的唱作人。

Damien Rice声音的渲染力，甚至可以将歌曲的情绪化为实质，然后直接传到听者的心上，他对乐器的感觉和协调性也非常出色。可能是他小时候学过画的缘故，专辑封面和内页的插图都出自他手，而且在他的吟唱之下，那些背景音乐仿佛也组成了一幅异常美丽的图画。

这首“9 crimes”选自他发行的命名为《9》的专辑，风格继续延续上张专辑的风格民谣，独流流行和Singer/ Songwriter。

以稍带忧伤的钢琴开头，不过Lisa Hannigan惆怅的声音让人心玄颤抖，不自觉地就回首起曾经的点点滴滴……Damien Rice疲倦的声音登场，悲伤的气氛之中又平增了几分哀愁，跟着Lisa Hannigan的嗓音穿插其中，就如一对即将分手的恋人的最后挣扎……

我们通常说的7宗罪是指：暴食、嫉妒、愤怒、懒惰、贪婪、淫欲、骄傲。那“9 Crimes”里的另外两宗罪又是什么？是背叛吗？是出轨吗？是在错的时间遇到对的人吗？还是在对的时间遇到错的人？也许只是感情的种种纠结让人有罪恶感……
