i had a lecture on trading english on 29th April, 2006. some of my students came to support me. they even sang "you are my super star" to cheer me up. i was greatly moved. i organized the audiences into several groups, and gave them a dialogue about how to use english in trade fair to read. then i explained some difficult points to them. after that, i asked them to have a role play according to a situation in trade fair. i invited some pairs to do imitate conversation. the others were all laughing at their wonderful performance. then we discussed some trade cases about L/C and pricing. the students were quite interested in them. we had a fierce argument. and some of them were really humorous, they told us lots of different stories on trade. we all laughed happily. They also asked me lots of questions. I answered them one by one talentedly. After the lecture, some of them even asked me for email address and telephone number. I was really glad to offer to them. 10 of them wanted to learn this course with me. I thought this lecture was quite successful. Of course, it cannot be so without the help of my students and colleagues. Thanks a lot!
