2、The Brothers Four-Where Have All The Flowers Gone
相信曾经经历过或喜爱六十年代欧美流行音乐的乐迷们应该都还记得由四位温文尔雅的大男孩组成的The Brothers Four吧。The Brothers Four成军于1958年的西雅图，成员包括Bob Flick、Michael Kirkland、John Paine与Dick Foley等四位当地受过良好教育的大学生。他们除了每个人都拥有一副优美的嗓子外，他们均还有相当英俊的外表，这使得他们在成团没多久便受到了广大乐迷的喜爱。

3、James Blunt-You are Beautiful
我们是不是该相信一个有着传奇人生经历的人更有资格表达和叙述？我们是不是该相信一个人命定的生活际遇就决定了成功的先机？很久没有看到一个民谣唱作人竟然在排行榜上有如此的统治力，单曲《You are Beautiful》和专辑《Back To Bedlam》也是英国销售榜的冠军，这种侵略性的流行与热卖的魔力让人惊讶，将近年乐坛的那个怪现象———流行与销售不一定成正比的规律打了个稀巴烂，这个叫James Blunt的人魅力何来呢，首先让人侧目的还真是他这一段年轻的人生旅程。
James Blunt的童年和音乐并无关系，他们一家都服役于陆军，古怪的父亲以为包括古典乐在内的所有音乐都是多余的噪音，因此他小时候能听到全部的音乐就只能是《生日快乐》和《平安夜》这样的歌曲。到了十四岁的时候他才确信有趣的人生必须要拥有一把吉他。

4、John Denver-Take Me Home, Country Roads

同样的popfolk曲风，爱尔兰近期的一个颇有影响力的民谣歌手Damien Rice很容易被人拿来和James Blunt做比较，其实在表达上James Blunt更为直白浅近，在节奏处理上James Blunt在《So Long Jimmy》和《Billy》这样的曲目里表现了野心，绝不满足于民谣吟唱这个范畴了。演唱上James Blunt嗓音单薄而纤细，高频部分假声运用非常多，欠了一份厚重。
《Back To Bedlam》是一张初次登场的唱片，一般来说创作歌手的第一张唱片都是最富生活积淀，最有个人特色的，科索沃满目疮痍的大地和自我丰富的内心给了James Blunt灵感，那些人生际遇里纷繁的忧愁与钝伤以及这个世界的宏大与微观，让这个带着浓重英国口音的歌手唱来却有着感同深受的亲近和唏嘘。
4、John Denver-Take Me Home, Country Roads
约翰·丹佛于1943年生于美国西南部的新墨西哥州，曾经学习建筑专业。1971年，他放弃学业，潜心从事乡村歌曲的创作与演唱。起初受到别人的嘲笑，但他始终不为所动。终于在1971年以一曲《Take Me Home, Country road》(《乡路送我回家》）一跃成名为著名乡村音乐歌星。丹佛演唱的歌曲大部分都是自己创作的，著名的曲目有《T-ake Me Home Country Road》、《Rocky M-
ountain High(高高洛基山)》、《Sunshine On My Shoulders(阳光照在我肩上)》、《A Wild Heart Looking For Home(浪子心渴望家园)》、《Trail Of Tears(泪痕)》 以及《African Sunrise(非洲的黎明)》 都是美国乡村歌曲与摇滚风格相结合的典范。20年来，丹佛的创作屡屡不绝，他为美国帆船“星条旗”号获胜作歌，还为中国之行创作了歌曲《(Shanghai's Breeze)上海的微风》。1979年元月，约翰·丹佛在华盛顿肯尼迪文化中心为当时访美的***同志演唱了他的拿手曲目。
和许多乡村歌手一样，丹佛也是经常一把吉它随身到处巡回演唱，歌曲多以吉它伴
奏，演唱自如，常有即兴变化。丹佛的嗓音自然明快而无矫揉做作。他演唱的内容多为歌唱纯真的爱情、美好的理想、抒发怀乡之情或是带有哲理性的社会歌曲。约翰·丹佛至今已获得21次金唱片奖和4 次白金唱片奖，他也是中国观众最为熟悉的美国乡村歌手之一。不幸的是，在我们编辑此光盘即将完成时，丹佛已离我们而去，1997年10月他在一次飞行中不幸坠机遇难。
