It`s not an exaggeration if you say Harry Potter is one of the most popular books in the world a few years ago since it attracted tens of thousands of pepole’s attention, and most of them were young people.
When I was in Senior Grade Three, we were organized to go to the same-named movie adapted from the book. It’s a story about a poor boy, who lost his parents just after his birth. However, he had a special gift in witchcraft . With the magic, he would fly on a broom, and beat whatever terrible monsters stronger than him .Actually, I’m not going to talk about the miraculous plots in the film , instead , I would like to say something about an article that I read in Du Zhe magazine the other day .
It’s reported in the article that an eight-year old girl named Katy Hank unfortunately got a serious cancer. The only hope that supports her to struggle to live is to wait for Harry Potter Four since she is a dedicated Harry fan. Her mother ,who wanted to fulfil her daughter’s hope ,sent an e-mail to the Harry Poter’s writer, J.K. Rolyn. She told Rolyn Katy’s situation and asked her when the fourth serial would come out . To her great surprise, both she and her daughter received an e-mail in short days. Rolyn encouraged them to be strong enough to face the difficulties. Not only that ,Katy also got a present from Rolyn, some initated properties in the movie ! You can imagine how happy the little girl was ! Finally, the writer finished her writing and read the story to Katy through international phone herself ! Even though Katy died at last , she went away with a satisfactory smile . From that time on , in order to help more young mothers and children like them , Katy’s mother set up a foundation called Katy Honk foundation , as Rolyn suggested. It soon became a famous US committee because they helped a lot of women and children .
