There and Therefore

Pure emotions?

This is the phrase I always use when I feel like being sarcastic.

Even for things, our emotions are not pure.

I thought they would be pure, if they could only be things.

Not people. Too complex.

Missing somebody is as impure as missing something.

Something has gone missing.

Now I can understand. I am just as selfish and egocentric as all the others. That's what makes us 'equal'.

We? Does it mean, you and I?

Remember? There is another 'we' behind 'us'.

Even for things, our emotions are contaminated.

We are contaminated.

I still love it. I, as one single person, still love it. More deeply than anywhere else, anything else, anybody else-except myself.

Nothing is more important than my self.

I hope you can agree with me.

Only distrust makes us sincere, only impurity makes us real.

I still love it. Present tense.

Why did you use past tense?
