Stray birds
“stray birds of summer came to my window to sing and fly away; yellow leaves of autumn which have no songs, flutter and fall with a sign.”
The poetic sentences above are two verses I quoted from Tagore. Besides, traditional ancient Chinese poems, I also have a lastingly and profound loving to the marvelous world exists between the lines of those English poems.
When the sun is shining brightly, the birds are singing in the blue clear sky, my heart beats with the same rhythm, and most probably I would read my favorite passages in a merry tune under the sun; when gloom becomes my closest friend and don’t know whom to be shared with, chances are that I’ll read my favorites as well, now this time there won’t be merry tunes but in tranquil mood. And the verses once looked lovely now seems have turned out to be a kind of beautiful sadness, so sad that can make my tears drop.
How I wish that there could be enough free time for me, for me to stop to figure out what’s wrong on earth there with me; for me to shed my silent tears without letting any others know; for me to stand still on the balcony and sing to myself “who will buy”----
It sounds silly, isn’t it? Since others are all “get busy living”. Yeah, it’s just my fancy, but, I like it.
At last I’d like to quote a part of my beloved poem as a conclusion of my bosh:
The world puts off its mask of vastness
To its lover
It becomes small as one song
As one kiss of the eternal-----
