1.kick ass 了不起

　除了字面上的“踢屁股”外，还有“厉害，打败”的意思。例如某人一向在某方面比你强，有一天你终于打败他了，你可以说：“Haha，i kicked your ass！”

2.XYZ 检查你的裤链

　“XYZ”是“check your zipper”的意思。在美国，填表选项时多用“X”打表示。这个选项的动作就叫做“check”，也就是这里的“XYZ”所代表的“X”。

3.hit the road　　上路了

A：Do you want to come in for some tea？

B：No．I'm running late．Ireally need to hit the road．

“hit the road”中的“hit”有“去”的意思。例如某人每周去健身房三次可以说“He hits the gym three times a week．”

4.take a dump 上大号

　“dump”是丢掉的意思，“丢”掉什么就不用我解释了吧！

5.boss around 颐指气使

　“boss around”和“push around”都是指使人的意思，形容一个人爱命令人也可以说：“He is very bossy！”

6.cop 警察

　美国人在口语中很少用“policeman”来表示警察，有时侯美国人也用“911”表示紧急的事。

7.eat　　使困扰；使不开心

　“What's eating you”意为“什么事让你不开心呢？”。

8.jazz (sth) up 使一件原本沉闷的事变得有趣
