18.Now the birth of Je'sus Christ was on this wise[waiz]样子:When as his mother Ma'ry was espoused[is'pauz]嫁;娶 to Jo'seph若瑟,before they came together,she was found with child of the Ho'ly Ghost圣神.
18.耶稣基督的诞生是这样的:他的母亲已经嫁给了若瑟,在他们还没有聚在一起前,玛丽亚因着圣神而怀了身孕.
19.Then Jo'seph her busband,being a just正义的 man,and not willing自愿的 to make her a public公开的,当众的 example,was minded to put her away privily['privili]暗中,秘密的.
19.她的丈夫若瑟是个义人,不愿意公开羞辱她,只想悄悄休了她.
20.But while he thought on these things,behold看;目睹,the angel of the Lord上帝 appeared出现 unto him in a dream,saying,Jo'seph,thou[古,你] son of Da'vid,fear害怕,担心 not to take unto thee[古,你,thou的宾格] Ma'ry thy wife:for that which is conceived怀孕,受孕 in her is of the Ho'ly Ghost.
20.若瑟正在思虑这事的时候,上帝的天使出现在他的梦里,说,若瑟,达味的子孙,把你的妻子玛丽亚娶回家,不要担心:她的身孕,是因着圣神而来的.
